Accept Bayarcash payments in PrestaShop

The Bayarcash module lets your PrestaShop store take payments through Bayarcash. Use this guide to install it and enter your keys.

To see the module at work before you install it, try the live demo.

You need the following:

  • An approved Bayarcash merchant account with your payment channels enabled.
  • Your Personal Access Token (PAT) and API Secret Key. See API keys.
  • Admin access to your PrestaShop store, with the shop currency set to Malaysian Ringgit (MYR).

Download the module zip file from Bayarcash. Then:

  1. In the PrestaShop admin, go to Modules → Module Manager.
  2. Click Upload a Module and choose the zip file.
  3. When it is installed, click Configure.

The Bayarcash configuration panel holds all the payment settings. To finish setup:

  1. Enter your Personal Access Token (PAT) and API Secret Key.
  2. Click Verify Token to confirm the keys are correct.
  3. Turn off Test Mode before you accept real payments.
  4. Save.
  • Test first. Turn on Test Mode to try an order, then turn it off and use your live keys.
  • Check transactions in Bayarcash. Your payments and reports are in your merchant dashboard. See Transactions.

Common issues

Payments fail after I set up the module.

Turn off Test Mode for real payments, and check your Personal Access Token and API Secret Key. Use the Verify Token button to confirm them. Your shop currency must be Malaysian Ringgit (MYR).
