Sign up for Bayarcash

Updated

You register for Bayarcash on the Bayarcash registration page. Once Bayarcash approves your account, you sign in to the merchant dashboard, set up a portal and get your API keys.

Bayarcash serves registered businesses and organisations. The Bayarcash plugin information names these kinds of merchant:

  • A business with an active SSM certificate.
  • A non-governmental organisation (NGO) registered with the Registrar of Societies (ROS).
  • A madrasah or sekolah tahfiz with state certification.
  • A yayasan (foundation).

Bayarcash is Shariah-compliant, so some types of business cannot use it. If you are not sure yours qualifies, ask the Bayarcash team before you apply.

You need an email address you can open, because you use it to sign in later. To register:

  1. Open the Bayarcash registration page.
  2. Follow the steps on the page and give the details and documents it asks for.
  3. Submit your application and wait for Bayarcash to review it.

Have your business registration documents ready before you start.

Once your account is approved, you can start setting up:

  1. Sign in to the merchant dashboard.
  2. Set up a portal for your payments.
  3. Get your API keys to connect your website or shop.

Common issues

How long does approval take?

This guide does not give a time, because none is published. Ask the Bayarcash team through the Need more help? box at the bottom of the page.

Can I try Bayarcash before my account is approved?

Developers can. Bayarcash has a separate sandbox merchant dashboard at console.bayarcash-sandbox.com for testing. Sandbox keys do not work on the live merchant dashboard.
